Mark Randall
swimming coach
Hi, I am Mark!
I am a swimming coach who specialises in stroke analysis and stroke correction.
Many swimmers are not performing at their full potential due to incorrect stroke technique. Using advanced technology I am able to record, analyse and correct swimming techniques so they have the best chance of achieving the times they aim to achieve.
My passion for excellence in swimming began as a competitive national swimmer and after completing my B.Sc Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science (University of Alabama) I was able to bring this knowledge and experience to the swimmers I coach.
I was head coach of Seals Ballito, Stingray Swim Club (Cayman Islands), and Fit Republik (Dubai), before returning to coach in South Africa.
I am currently on the TUKS Swimming coaching Team, and have accompanied South African National Teams as Coach at International Events.
I offer Stroke Analysis and Stroke Correction for swimmers and triathletes of all ages and all levels.
Sessions are done in-person in Pretoria, using video analysis and the EO-Lab SwimBETTER system.
Virtual sessions and video analysis are also available if needed.
How it Works
Using video and the EO-Lab SwimBETTER system I am able to analyse and report on the 5 important parameters that make up a swimming stroke:
- Force field
- Stroke Path and Velocity
- Consistency
- Stroke Phases
- Stroke Path & Force
Based on this I am able to provide you with a plan to correct and optimise each to improve both your stroke and your performance in the water.
